Thie following camp description is TOP SECRET: Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? We'll start with the basics: from decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision. Campers have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take-home lots of gadgets! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on investigation of the science that spies use! Appropriate for ages 5-12. Children should bring their own beverage and peanut free snack to camp each day. **Please note, once this class has begun no refunds will be issued for cancellations. Brixology Camp sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Children learn about different types of engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering-themed project using LEGO® bricks. We'll learn about aerospace engineering while assembling a space station. We'll explore mechanical engineering as we build boats and vehicles. That's not all! From carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges, your future engineer will build upon their creativity to solve real-world design challenges, while developing their problem-solving and team-building skills. Calling all Jr. Archaeologists and Paleontologists! Uncover the mysteries of ancient civilizations, explore the history of dinosaurs and dig up the ancient past! Lear about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities. Discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life. Kids will love to study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils! Camp is filled with cool take homes cush as amber keychains, world coins, plaster hand cast and more! Music for Little Mozarts was written to provide appropriate piano instruction for 4 1/2 to 6 year-olds. The materials in the course combine to create an exciting and imaginative atmosphere both in the lesson and at home. Parent participation with child is required. Please no siblings in the lab. A 45-minute class for children to work with their parent/guardian, and a GTC trained instructor, to introduce the amazing sport of gymnastics! All classes are taught in a fun, safe, and engaging environment, where students learn social skills, following directions, and body awareness. Students are taught basic gymnastic skills on floor, bars, beams, and tumbl trak! Girls: prefer you wear gymnastic leotards (no attached skirts). Boys: please wear a t-shirt and gym shorts. American Sign Language Club and Honor Society explores the deaf community and culture through community projects and activities with deaf films, art, storytelling and poetry. ASLHS is a student led organization for ASL students in ASL 2 or above and must have a 3.0 GPA in ASL coursework. ASLHS is sponsored by Ms. Lowry. Members meet every other Tuesday morning to discuss community projects and deaf culture. The $30 club fee is a non-refundable district fee.

The Asian Culture Club works towards awareness and education of the many Asian cultures. Members are welcome to present information about their own cultures, such as interesting facts, history, food, etc. Each meeting will focus on a specific country, providing information, games, and regional foods. The first meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 2:35. Sponsored by Ms. Youngs and meets in room C107. The $30 club fee is a non-refundable district fee.
