Youth Lacrosse - This lacrosse camp will cover the rules on the field. You will also learn offense/defense positions, game concepts and techniques, and all positions will be taught to every player. Instructional Basketball Camp and Competitive League for students going into grades 6-8. Camper will learn fundamentals and common basketball terminology in a fun and supportive environment. The camp will be staffed by current and former Adams Varsity basketball players and the current coaching staff. Players participate in instructional drills, tam and camp contests and 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 game play for each of the four days. Students will learn; emotions flashcards, learn to create characters, learn how to work in groups and solo, and learn how to take directions from a filming director. All these lessons will lead up to filming and shooting a short film series. There will be a $25.00 materials fee due to the instructor at the 1st class. A 45-minute class where students work with a trained GTC instructor to learn and improve basic gymnastics skills. Students will love training on all four of the Olympic events, including floor, bars, beam, and vault! All students are challenged individually based in thrier skill level and readiness. Girls: prefer you wear gymnastic leotards (no skirt attached). Boys: please wear a t-shirt and gym shorts. Belts, buckles, jeans, and jewelry are not allowed. Long hair must be in a ponytail. Welcome to STEAMwarts Academy of Wizards, Spells and Potions! You'll design your own wand and wizarding gear and be sorted into your perfect STEAM house. You'll take on a full load of wizarding classes, from Transfiguration to Flying Broomsticks to Magical Beasts. You'll mix up spellbinding potions, cast enchanting spells, make your own flying dragon and much more. Camp will culminate with an enhanced graduation ceremony complete with butter beer diplomas. Curious about Drums? This is JC's Famous Fun with Drums Class! This class introduces beginning drum students to some of the essentials of drumming. Basic stick patterns - strengthening exercises - coordination building - and of course, plenty of playing along to songs. Our hope is to get our students excited about playing drums and advancing to our private lesson program, where we will then customize the lessons to each individual's learning style. A Friday night basketball party for 5th – 8th grade girls Come join the Falcons for a Friday night of basketball, 3 on 3 games, contests, swimming, food, friends, & fun. Also, as “Future Falcons”, get the opportunity to meet the coaches and players that make up Rochester Girls Basketball. $60 enrollment fee includes a “Falcon Friday Night Hoops” T-shirt, all activities, pizza, snacks and swimming.
