  • Delta Kelly: Daffodils for DK - 2024

DK Families, In 2021, we launched "Daffodils for DK", a Positivity Project community outreach to go along with our character trait of "Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence." Families have the opportunity to pre-order daffodil bulbs to be planted at their homes and also for DK students to plant here on school property in the Fall. As the snow melts away in the Spring, we are so excited to see hundreds of beautiful yellow flowers emerge here at school and in your neighborhoods to bring us hope for the sunny, warm days ahead. We would love to once again offer this opportunity to families. For $25.00, you will receive 15 bulbs to be planted at your home and 10 bulbs will be donated to Delta Kelly. Students will plant those bulbs here on school property and we hope you will find a great spot to plant yours at your home. If you place an order, you will receive your bulbs in the Fall along with easy planting instructions. We are excited for our community to pop with even more color in the Spring when the daffodils once again appear to announce warmer days are coming. All orders need to be placed by Friday, May 24th, 2024 If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at bjackson@rochester.k12.mi.us or call the main office. Thank you for your help and support with our Positivity Project Traits here at Delta Kelly! Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnie Jackson Kindergarten Teacher
