The Rochester Area Neighborhood House provides food, household items, financial assistance, counseling services, and transportation to those in need in Oakland county. Recipients are often those with employment and homes, yet experience financial hardship due to difficult situations from events such as the death of a family member, divorce, medical emergency, or even a car breaking down.
Neighborhood House serves over 3,000 households per year and is the only full-service human services agency in our area. They rely on community members, both individuals and organizations, to help them help others. The items they offer from their food pantry are solely dependent on community donations. In 2022, Neighborhood House provided more than 320,500 meals, and this year are serving more individuals and families than ever before!
Please join RHS in helping Neighborhood House provide for others with your donation, either for their food pantry or with a financial donation made here.
RHS classes are currently competing with each other to see who can raise the most! If you would like your contribution to go towards helping a specific class, enter the teacher's name and class hour when choosing your financial donation amount, or write it on a note when dropping off donated items.
