Rochester Community Schools

The American Chemical Society Chem Club is a high school chemistry club that provides students with a unique opportunity to experience chemistry beyond the classroom. Chem Club students after-school activities, getting involved in community building, learning about chemistry careers, enjoying social events, and a better understanding of how chemistry plays a role in our everyday lives. Chem Club provides opportunities for past AP Chem students to help those who are currently taking Chemistry/AP Chemistry to succeed in the practice of Chemistry. Regular club meetings usually involve hands-on lab activities or tutoring sessions coordinated by the club officers (past AP Chemistry students). The Chem Club helps students not only prepare for the AP Chemistry exam in May, but also to prepare for the Chemistry Olympiad Exam given in March
