Come and learn the fun, fast-paced game of Lacrosse. This is a beginner course for boys new to the sport. Participants will learn fundamentals and enjoy fun drills and applied games. Participants should wear comfortable activity clothing and running shoes. In addition, students should have their own Boy's Lacrosse stick and personal water to drink. All registrations must be made by 12pm/noon, 2 business days prior to the start date of the class. Classes that do not meet established minimums will have to be cancelled. Please register early to avoid cancelled classes! If you need to cancel this class you would need to do so 7 days or more from exact start date of class, and subject to a $10 service fee. If it is 6 days or less before the start date of the class, or if you go to the class and decide you want to cancel, you would need to do so before the 2nd class meets and will be subject to a $25 service fee. In this intramural, students will dive into a world of strategy, fun, and friendly competition with our Board and Card Game Club! Over five engaging sessions, we’ll explore a variety of classic and new board games and card games. Whether they’re a fan of strategy, luck, or teamwork, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We’ll learn the rules, develop strategies, and challenge each other in a supportive and exciting environment. Optional-bring favorite board or card games. Review of chess rules, explore various openings when playing White or Black, tactics, where to position your pieces, endgame strategies, scorekeeping, use of chess clock & class competition.
