    The ABC Squared Club is designed for students passionate about business and eager to compete on a national and global scale. The club provides a dynamic environment where members can connect with like-minded peers, enhance their leadership skills, and participate in prestigious competitions such as the Wharton Global Youth Investment Competition. Activities will include regular meetings, workshops, and preparatory sessions to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in college and in their future ventures. We seek to connect professionals and professors to provide insight and experience to help members in research and internship opportunities. Additionally, the club will offer resources and mentorship for those who aim to achieve even more outside of school, empowering them to pursue excellence and bring recognition to Rochester Adams High School.   • AHS American Cancer Society Club 2026-2027

    The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer through research, education, and service. Activities include creating awareness campaigns; creating informational posters or social media campaigns to educate students about different types of cancer, prevention strategies and the importance of early detection of it. We also want to organize fundraising events such as bake sales with proceeds going to the nationwide American Cancer society. It also will include volunteer opportunities for students within the club to earn service hours by coordinating days where club members can assist with local ACS events, such as health fairs or community outreach programs. One of our big goals is to be able to partner up with local hospitals for cancer treatment centers to provide support, such as organizing donation posts with links for patients truly in need of funds for their treatments. Utilizing social media will be huge for us as we will make weekly posts with facts and donation links for patients in need. Overall we aim to create a supportive community dedicated to fighting cancer and making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by the disease.     Art Club & National Art Honors Society run together because they do similar projects! NAHS members will be responsible for art-related community service and the logging of our required service hours. In art club & NAHS, we use all mediums and past projects include face painting, watercolor postcards and ceramic poppies for veterans, murals at Adams High School, the Memory Project, sticker fundraisers, pizza & pins, teacher appreciation projects, and Paint the Plow. Students in grades 9-12 may join art club by paying a $30.00 club fee and $10.00 materials fee.     The American Chemical Society Chem Club is a high school chemistry club that provides students with a unique opportunity to experience chemistry beyond the classroom. Chem Club students after-school activities, getting involved in community building, learning about chemistry careers, enjoying social events, and a better understanding of how chemistry plays a role in our everyday lives. Chem Club provides opportunities for past AP Chem students to help those who are currently taking Chemistry/AP Chemistry to succeed in the practice of Chemistry. Regular club meetings usually involve hands-on lab activities or tutoring sessions coordinated by the club officers (past AP Chemistry students).   • AHS Congressional Award Club 2026-2027

    This club is focused on helping students achieve and advance their goals inside of the Congressional Award Program. The program focuses on rewarding students who have completed a set of hours of community service, personal development, physical fitness, and expeditions with recognition and awards. The program is established and provided by Congress and gives awards at different levels going from a bronze, silver, and gold certificate to a bronze, silver, and gold medal which is the highest reward. There are conferences held in Washington D.C. for handing out rewards. The club will provide students with volunteer, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition opportunities and act as a hub so that students can work together to receive their awards. The club will also ensure that students are keeping up with their hours and are continuously on track to reaching their desired awards. Meetings will be held inquiring students about what progress they have made and club leaders, who have already gone through the process, will provide opportunities and advice for completing the forms and getting hours.     The Creative Writing Club is a club dedicated to teaching students about writing that goes outside the bounds of academic literature. Meetings will focus on a specific genre of writing and club members will spend roughly one month reading, writing, and peer editing material. In addition to exploring different types of creative writing, members will help others to write and edit essays. Along with entering online writing competitions, members will attend writing workshops when possible.
