The RCS Black Student Union is a tri-high club open to students from all our RCS high schools.
BSU serves as a place for every student to be their authentic self in respect to identity and allows students who identify as allies or members of the Black community to connect with each other, build positive interactions in our district, and promote inclusivity. Their purpose is to promote a positive representation of the African American community, as well as to promote student leadership, outreach, and empowerment. Meetings consist of food, games, and more!
The club is sponsored by Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Mims and meets once a month from 3:30-5:00. Locations vary between each of the three high schools in the RHS Media Center. Sign up to get Remind text messages for meeting updates with join code: _______
The club fee of $30 does not apply to join the RCS Black Student Union. However, click on the "Enroll Now" button in the top right corner to officially join.
