Rochester Community Schools

A true learning experience for students interested in nature and plants, the Horticultural Society raises various plants in both aquaponic and geoponic environments, such as aquariums, to learn about propagation and cloning techniques. Members set up their own aquaponic systems to facilitate closed-loop growth of plants such as golden pothos, peppermint, and alpine strawberries, while learning about differing plant requirements and how to analyze root growth patterns and overall plant health.

The $30 club fee is a non-refundable district fee.
