Rochester Community Schools

This novice club is designed for first- and second-year wrestlers seeking an introduction to the sport or looking to emphasize fundamental skills.  The program covers essential offensive and defensive techniques necessry for success in competitive settings.  Each class will start with warm-ups, followed by technical instruction, exercises, drills, live wrestling sessions, and end with a wrestling-related game.  Wrestlers in the Novice Club have the option to compete in our MYWAY (Michigan Youth Wrestling Association) competition season.  All wrestlers will receive a dry-fit Club PAW Team shirt. Wear sweatpants or shorts, t-shirt, wrestling shoes, wrestling headgear, and bring a water bottle.   

All registrations must be made by 12pm/noon, 2 business days prior to the start date of the class. Classes that do not meet established minimums will have to be cancelled. Please register early to avoid cancelled classes!

If you need to cancel this class you would need to do so 7 days or more from exact start date of class, and subject to a $10 service fee. If it is 6 days or less before the start date of the class, or if you go to the class and decide you want to cancel, you would need to do so before the 2^nd class meets and will be subject to a $25 service fee. Regardless of sign up date, after the 2^nd class starts there are no refunds, transfers or cancellations.
