We offer group swim lessons, lifeguard training and so much more for kids and adults. Our aquatics program is one of the best in Oakland County. All of our staff are American Red Cross (ARC) certified lifeguards and instructors

Elementary Summer Learning STEAM & Lit Camp

Create * Explore * Imagine
Get ready to make something beautiful! In this nature-inspired art camp, science and art go hand-in-hand as young artists observe, imagine, and create. Campers will explore animals past and present - from iridescent Amazon insects to dinosaurs of long ago - using paint, drawing materials, and clay. Kids will experiment with new art techniques to bring their animal artwork to life. AND, if we don't know the exact color, we'll invent it! The sky's the limit as imaginations soar in this playful, confidence-building creative adventure. A family Gallery Show will take place on the final day of camp (please arrive at 11:55 for our viewing of creations). Please have child bring water bottle, snack, and wear clothes that are not precious. Please indicate what size t-shirt your student wears when registering for this class. Bring a bathing suit, towel, or change of clothes on Thursday for an optional outdoor water play. Taught by Artist/Instructor Pamela Palmer B.F.A., Founder of The Artist's Apprentice.
All registrations must be made more than 2 business days prior to the start date of the class. Classes that do not meet established minimums will have to be cancelled. Please register early to avoid cancelled classes!
If you need to cancel this class you would need to do so 7 days or more from exact start date of class, and subject to a $10 service fee. No refunds, transfers, or cancellations will be given if you cancel less than 7 days regardless of sign up date.
