So you like to draw, but you want to get really good at it? Okay, let's make that happen!  Students will be working on exercises involving negative space, value shading, portraits, contour lines, and perspective. These basics will help to build a strong foundation for an understanding of how to improve artwork and make it go beyond the ordinary to reach a new level of excellence! We engage in 2 or 3 projects daily with an outdoor 'en plein air' experiences as well. Young artists will work primarily in graphite, and students can add color with the medium of their choice. A Gallery Show of our students' artwork will be extended to families following class on the final day of camp (please arrive at 11:55 for our viewing of creation). Please bring water bottle, snack, and wear clothes that are not precious. Please bring a bathing suit or extra clothes on Thursday for an optional water play activity. All registrations must be made more than 2 business days prior to the start date of the class. Classes that do not meet established minimums will have to be cancelled. Please register early to avoid cancelled classes!

If you need to cancel this class you would need to do so 7 days or more from exact start date of class, and subject to a $10 service fee. No refunds, transfers, or cancellations will be given if you cancel less than 7 days regardless of sign up date.
