Short Description
West Motown Choir Field Trip – October 24, 2025
Motown Museum guided tour and lunch at JoJo’s Shake Bar. We have “Motown Monday” every Monday. We spend the first couple minutes of class each day celebrating different genres and decades of our music history. Many students do not know what “Motown” is or that its rich history began in our very own Detroit, MI! I want them to experience the culture of this musical style and learn about the history and impact it has had on the music they listen to today! This opportunity will also allow students to learn about other careers in the music field beyond singing/performing (i.e. record producer, sound engineer, production manager, etc.). Cost per student includes transportation, ticket to museum, and lunch at JoJo’s Shake Bar. Souvenirs are at student expense. Please note we are not able to give any refunds after final numbers are submitted to the Motown Museum and JoJo’s Shake Bar.
