Short Description
The Networking Club's goal is to boost the confidence of students in social situations. It will do this by simulating a networking event at places like TopGolf, Park Picnics, and other places that the club members decide on by using money that is fundraised through sales of food and drinks at lunch (Blended, Crumbl, Alibi, etc). Then, at each event, each person will be tasked with a conversation theme and will have to go around and spark up an engaging conversation that goes along with the theme. The goal of this is to help people stay in engaging conversations so that in the future, they will have the skills to meet new people, gain contacts, and use them to their advantage. In order to keep our club members engaged, we will offer food incentives with every meeting, and for the meeting schedule, every other Tuesday we would meet in Mrs. Hershenows room. The first Tuesday of the month, we will plan where the second meeting will take place (the outing) and then choose our theme. For the first meeting of the year, a competition will take place of people needing signatures on a clipboard from different people in order to win a leadership position if they choose to do so.
Refund Guidelines
Refund Eligibility:Refunds are only available for club fees if the request is made before the club officially starts. Once a club's activities have begun (i.e., the first meeting or event has occurred), no refunds will be issued.
Request Process:Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email or physical form) to the designated club coordinator prior to the club's start date. The request should include the reason for the refund and the student’s contact information.
Refund Timeline:Refund requests will be processed within 10 business days of the request being approved, provided the request is made prior to the first club meeting or activity.
Special Circumstances:In cases of extreme circumstances (such as medical emergencies), the school district may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, even after the club has started. Documentation may be required to support the request. If a club is canceled, a refund will be issued.
