So you like to draw, but you want to get better at it?  Okay, let's make that happen!  Students will be working on exercises involving negative space, value shading, portrait, contour lines, and perspective.  These basics will help to build a strong foundations for an understanding of how to improve artwork and make it go beyond the ordinary and reach a new level of excellence, truly impressive!  We engage in 2 or 3 projects daily with an outdoor 'en plein air' experience as well.  New this year, art kids will utilize embossing tools and a white highlighter pen in a technique to enhance the drawing of animal fur.  We will work primarily in graphite, and if time permits, students can add color with the medium of their choice.  A Gallery Show of our students' artwork will be extended to families following class on the final day of camp. Limited spaces, so sign up soon! Please bring water bottle, snack, and wear clothes that are not precious, messy camp alert!  Taught by artist/instructor of The Artist's Apprentice.  

Materials fee of $60.00 payable to instructor at 1^st class.  

All registrations must be made more than 2 business days prior to the start date of the class. Classes that do not meet established minimums will have to be cancelled. Please register early to avoid cancelled classes!

If you need to cancel this class you would need to do so 7 days or more from exact start date of class, and subject to a $10 service fee. No refunds, transfers, or cancellations will be given if you cancel less than 7 days regardless of sign up date.
