We offer group swim lessons, lifeguard training and so much more for kids and adults. Our aquatics program is one of the best in Oakland County. All of our staff are American Red Cross (ARC) certified lifeguards and instructors

We recommend that children enrolling in a Pre-K 3 class turn three on or before September 1st of the year. Children enrolling in any Pre-K class must be fully toilet trained.

Van Hoosen 6th Grade Detroit Zoo Field Trip
Isle Royale is a rugged, isolated island found in Lake Superior. On Tuesday, April 1st, our sixth grade will be traveling to Isle Royale at the Detroit Zoo. In partnership with the Detroit Zoo, students will have field experiences similar to a scientist researching on Isle Royale.
Date(s) of the event: April 1st, 2025
Cost: $15 per student
Students and chaperones will be traveling on school buses. We will be leaving at 9:15 AM. Students will arrive at school at the normal start to the day. Chaperones please arrive at 8:55 AM and meet in the cafeteria. We will be returning at approximately 2:00PM.
