This year for our annual Tri-High Charity Week, students at Adams, RHS, and Stoney Creek are collaboratively raising funds to support Camp Kesem, an organization dedicated to support children who are affected by a parent or caregiver's cancer.
Kesem is a week-long sleepaway summer camp designated for children to have fun and create friendships with those who are going through similar things. This program allows children to just be kids and not worry about what is going on at home, at no cost for families. Five million children coping with a loved one's diagnosis are at risk of experiencing hopelessness or anxiety every day, which makes it Camp Kesem's mission to make sure any child struggling is never alone.
Tri-High Charity Week is an opportunity for all high school students in Rochester Community Schools to raise money for worthy causes. In past years, we've raised thousands of dollars for charities like the Yellow Ribbon Fund, The Henry Ford Center for Living Donations, Humble Design, and more—all charities with an impact in our own community. Please help us in our efforts by contributing here!
